TFT-LCD liquid crystal display is a thin-film transistor type liquid crystal display, which is true color (TFT), so there is the term TFT liquid crystal true color screen.

TFT LCD true color screen is equipped with a semiconductor switch for each pixel, and each pixel can be directly controlled by dot pulses, so each node is relatively independent and can be continuously controlled, which not only improves the response speed of the display, but also Precisely control the display color gradation, so the color of the TFT LCD true color screen is more true.

TFT LCD true color screens are characterized by good brightness, high contrast, strong layering, and bright colors, but they also have the disadvantages of relatively power consumption and high cost.

TFT LCD technology has accelerated the development of mobile phone color screens. The new generation of TFT true color screens all support 65536 colors, and some even support 160,000 colors. At this time, the advantages of TFT's high contrast and rich colors are very important.

The main structure of TFT true color screen is fluorescent tube, light guide plate, polarizing plate, filter plate, glass substrate, alignment film, liquid crystal material, thin mode transistor and so on.

TFT, or thin film field effect transistor, is a type of active matrix liquid crystal display. It can "actively" control each individual pixel on the screen, which can greatly improve the response time.

Generally, the response time of TFT is relatively fast, about 80 milliseconds, and the viewing angle is large, generally reaching about 130 degrees, which is mainly used in high-end products. The so-called thin film field effect transistor means that each liquid crystal pixel on the liquid crystal display is driven by a thin film transistor integrated thereafter.

This can display screen information at high speed, high brightness, and high contrast. The TFT true color screen belongs to the active matrix liquid crystal display, which is technically driven by the "active matrix" method. The method is to use the thin film technology to make the transistor electrode, and use the scanning method to "actively pull" to control any display point. When the light source is on and off, the light source first penetrates upward through the lower polarizing plate, and the light is transmitted by the liquid crystal molecules, and the purpose of display is achieved by shading and transmitting light.
