How much should the brightness of the LCD splicing screen be set?

Nowadays, LCD splicing screens are more and more widely used. Many of us find that the 700cd/m*2 splicing screens that are prominent by Samsung panels or LG panels are much higher than the price of 500cd/m*2. Some people think that bright splicing screens are better than bright splicing screens. The brightness of the splicing screen must be as high as possible. This is not the case.

So why is the bright spot higher than the price? When choosing an LCD splicing screen, how do you choose the price/performance ratio?

The first problem is that in general, the better the brightness of the LCD splicing screen, the more vivid the display color, and the better the color saturation of the display. If the brightness is too low, the displayed color will become darker, and if you watch it for a long time, you may experience eye fatigue. Here we have to mention another technical parameter: comparison. Contrast is the ratio of brightness, that is, the ratio of the brightness of the white picture to the brightness of the black picture in the dark room, that is, the brighter the white, the deeper the black, the higher the contrast, and the more powerful display layering. At present, Samsung's panel has a 4000:1 contrast ratio for both high and low brightness, while LG's high brightness or low brightness contrast ratio is 1400:1, so the color layer of the picture is not just a picture of brightness. They are all comparable. Does anyone say that the low contrast of LG is not good, in fact, it is not LG's contrast, although it is not as high as Samsung's contrast, but due to manufacturing differences, its color saturation is still very high. In short, the performance of LCD splicing screens should be comprehensive and cannot be measured only by an indicator of brightness or contrast.

The second problem is that the brightness of the splicing screen is not higher, the higher the contrast, the better. Watching a high-brightness screen for a long time can also cause eye fatigue. Standard LCD splicing screen 500cd/m*2 is basically suitable for most users. Of course, this should be determined according to the place of use and lighting conditions. If the area of the venue is large enough, it is recommended to use highlights when there is sufficient light. Usually, high-brightness products will be used in conference rooms, such as command centers. Smaller screen displays usually fully satisfy the highlights.
