In the scorching sun, not only the outdoor LED display should be well dissipated, in fact, for the indoor without air conditioning, how to dissipate the indoor LED display is also a problem that must be considered. Today, Yuebei Electronics will talk about its own experience!

With the miniaturization and frivolity of equipment, there is no large-volume cooling fan and water cooling structure. How can the frivolous machine effectively dissipate heat, thereby reducing the damage to its components due to high heat?

For indoor LED display, because there is no threat of sunlight, it seems to reduce some harmful factors. However, correspondingly, indoor requirements for the frivolity of goods are higher, and the available space for heat dissipation and convection around the goods is limited. These factors make the heat dissipation of indoor equipment not easy.

The current display equipment heat dissipation is divided into several methods such as metal heat sinks, heat pipes, electric fans, and water cooling. The first two are attributed to forced heat dissipation. The latter two are attributed to automatic cooling. The so-called automatic heat dissipation and forced heat dissipation are mainly defined by whether additional power is required to perform heat dissipation.

Heat sink is the most typical forced heat dissipation element. In addition, heat pipe is also an increasingly popular forced heat dissipation element in recent years. In the field of heat dissipation, high thermal conductivity is still the main direction of technological development. Metals with good thermal conductivity, light weight and easy processing such as aluminum or copper, and silver with better thermal conductivity are too expensive and are generally not used. In our daily use, it will also be supplemented with thermal paste, such as the "silica gel" inside the computer that we see more often.

The heat pipe is another heat dissipation solution that is more common in forced methods. The characteristics of light weight and rapid temperature uniformity make it have excellent heat conduction characteristics. The application scale of heat pipes is appropriate and extensive. Industry is now widely used in various application fields such as heat exchangers and coolers, playing a role in heat transfer and heat dissipation.

The most common automatic heat dissipation is to use the air-cooled heat dissipation of the moving fan blades of the motor. In addition to the most commonly seen installations on the computer case and power supply, it is combined with heat sinks and heat pipes to form a composite heat dissipation device. , it is widely used in major computer processors such as graphics cards and central processing units.

Water-cooled heat dissipation refers to the use of liquid to forcibly circulate the heat of the radiator under the action of the pump. The heat dissipation function of the water-cooled radiator is proportional to the flow rate of the cooling liquid (water or other liquids) between them, and the flow rate of the refrigerant liquid is related to the power of the water pump in the refrigeration system. And the heat capacity of water is large, which makes the water-cooled refrigeration system have an excellent heat load capacity. It is suitable for 5 times of the air-cooled system, and the direct advantage is that the working temperature curve of the related components is very steep. For example, a system using an air-cooled radiator will show a thermal peak in a short period of time when running a program with a large CPU load, or may exceed the CPU's warning temperature, while a water-cooled system has a relatively large thermal capacity, and thermal shock is relatively small. much more.

At present, in addition to the above four heat dissipation methods, some monitors have completed the heat dissipation with their special internal structure, but the effect is limited. In addition, we usually choose LED displays with better products, so that high heat can be prevented from the most basic places.
