Therefore, the role of thermal grease is to better combine the CPU surface with the heat sink, increase the contact area, and improve the heat dissipation efficiency. There are many types of silicone grease. High-quality thermal: Grease should have good thermal conductivity, high temperature resistance, aging resistance and water resistance. The good thermal conductivity of silicone grease is exactly what we need. Silicone grease should have a certain consistency without obvious granularity. In the process of CPU heat dissipation, silicone grease has a certain heating effect. When it reaches a certain state, it appears semi-liquid, filling the gap between the CPU and the radiator, making the combination of the two tighter and strengthening heat dissipation.

Before installing the processor, we need to evenly coat the CPU with a layer of thermal grease to ensure a good combination of the CPU and the radiator, which is more conducive to the heat dissipation of the processor.
There are four plastic clips around the radiator. After the CPU is installed correctly, we need to pay attention to align the four clips of the radiator with the corresponding positions on the CPU socket when placing the radiator.
Next, we noticed that there are directional arrows on the four plastic buckles, and we need to rotate the buckles counterclockwise in the direction of the arrows. After the four buckles are rotated counterclockwise in the direction of the arrow, the buckles can be pressed firmly. At this time, you can press the fasteners in diagonal order to ensure that the heat sink is tightly connected to the CPU.
After the buckle is pressed, turn it fully clockwise in the opposite direction of the arrow. The first step to install the CPU cooler is to connect the power supply of the radiator fan to the corresponding position of the motherboard, such as the power connector marked with CPU FAN.
Removal of CPU fan of industrial computer
First, turn the four buckles clockwise in the same direction as the arrow.
After confirming that the four buckles have been rotated clockwise, pull out the four buckles with force. At this time, pay attention to pressing the radiator, just pull it up slightly, do not pull it out.
At this point, you can find the power cable connecting it to the motherboard along the CPU cooling fan, and unplug it directly after finding it. After unplugging the power cord of the CPU cooling fan, you can grab the outer cover of the CPU cooling fan by hand.
