1. dot pitch

The meaning of dot pitch in industrial LCD screen is the distance between two pixels. He mainly depends on the distance of the audience. Generally speaking, the concept of dot pitch is usually used in outdoor screens, including P7.62, P6, P10, P8, P16, P12, etc., in millimeters. The viewing distance of the outdoor LCD screen is generally within 30 meters, generally not greater than the P16 module. The tighter the dot pitch, the more delicate the fonts displayed on the display screen, and the more pixels per unit area, the higher the cost of the display screen.

⒉. Scanning method:

The scanning method usually determines the connection form between the modules. The scanning methods generally include 1/8, 1/16, 1/2, 1/4, and static. Because the LED display is refreshed line by line, the scanning method also determines the display refreshing method. If 1/16 is refreshed as 1 line at a time, 16 lines are a scanning cycle, which requires four ABCD signals to control; 1/ 8 means that 1 row is refreshed every time, and 8 is a scanning cycle, which requires three signals of ABC to control separately; and so on. If the same LED light is used, the brightness of 1/16 scan is lower than that of 1/8, and the static brightness is the highest. Indoor screens generally use 1/16 scanning, and outdoor and semi-outdoor screens generally use 1/16 or 1/8. For the environment where the LCD screen is often exposed to strong direct sunlight, it is best to use 1/4 scan.
