LED display is a common device used to display various information such as text and video. So in the construction process of the led display, what is the power distribution calculation of the display? Today, let's follow the editor of YONGS LED display to learn about its calculation methods:
1. switching power supply
At present, almost all display screens are powered by switching power supplies, which convert AC 220V mains into DC 5V to provide power for light-emitting devices. Therefore, the total power consumption of a display screen is the capacity of the switching power supply used.
2. Display power calculation
Knowing the parameters of the switching power supply, we can calculate the power of a display screen by ourselves, or the total power consumption of the display screen. For example, a F5 monochrome screen, the unit board is composed of 8X10, three boards and a 100W switching power supply, a total of 27 100W switching power supplies are required, then the total power consumption of this screen is 100Wx27=2700W.
For another example, a TP20 full-color screen unit cabinet uses 6 S-350-5 switching power supplies, and its relatively large power is 250Wx6=1500W. If the project requires 20 (4x5) cabinets, then the power of this screen The total power consumption is 30KW.
The total power consumption mentioned in the above example is the relatively large power of the display screen when it is all yellow or all white, and the total power consumption data provided to Party A in the bidding and pre-construction stage is generally based on this. In addition, the average power consumption is the power consumed by a display screen during normal display, which is about half of the total power consumption. For the second example above, the average power consumption of this screen is about 15KW, which means that the power consumption is about 15 degrees per hour.
