Avoid water intake

Never let anything with moisture enter the LCD.  Of course, once this happens, don't panic. If only fog is found on the screen surface before booting, wipe it off gently with a soft cloth.  If the water has entered the LCD, then put the LCD in a ventilated and dry place, and gradually evaporate the water inside.  If the situation of screen "flood" is serious, it is better for ordinary users to call the service provider for help, because the more serious moisture will damage the components of LCD, lead to corrosion of LCD electrodes, causing permanent damage.  In addition, we should try to avoid using LCD display in wet environment.

Avoid long hours of work

The pixels of LCD are made up of many liquid crystals. If used continuously for too long, the crystal will be aged or burned out. Once the damage occurs, it will be permanent and irreparable.  Generally speaking, do not keep LCD on for a long time (more than 72 consecutive hours), if not in use, turn off the display.

Avoid hard bruising

LCD display is relatively fragile, and should be careful not to be "bruised" by other devices in normal use. When using detergent, we should also pay attention not to spray the detergent directly on the screen. It may flow into the screen and cause short circuit. The correct way is to use soft cloth to stick the detergent on the screen and gently wipe the screen.  Keep in mind that LCD's ability to resist "impact" is very small, and many crystals and sensitive electrical components will be damaged when impacted.
