With the development of science and technology, LCD Screen has many main panel types in the market, and the parameters and characteristics of each panel type are also different for each product.
TFT Screen
Thin Film Transistor (TFT) is a special type of TFT used in active matrix liquid crystal displays (AM LDs). It is located on the back of the LCD lamp and can actively control various pixels on the screen. This is known as active matrix TFT. Therefore, it can greatly improve the reaction time. Generally, the fastest reaction time for TFT is about 80ms, while for STN 200ms, if you want to increase the reaction rate, flickering phenomenon will occur. In addition, since TFT is an active matrix LOD, the arrangement of liquid crystals can be memorized and will not immediately recover after the current disappears. TFT also improves the flicker (ripple) phenomenon of STN and effectively enhances the ability to play dynamic images. Compared with STN, TFT has good color saturation, reduced power consumption, and higher contrast, but its disadvantage is high power consumption and relatively high cost.
STN Screen
STN is the abbreviation for Super Twisted Neural, which is our most exposed LCD because the gray screen phones we used at the launch event are all STN. Compared to previous LCDs, the SIN type LCD is a passive matrix LCD device. It has the advantages of low power consumption and the greatest energy-saving advantage. The principle of color TN display is to add a color filter to the traditional TN monochrome LCD display, and divide each pixel into three sub pixel display matrices. The filters are used to display red, green, and blue respectively, which can display a rich and colorful picture. Unlike TFT, STN extends to passive and passive LODs, typically displaying up to 65536 colors
DSTN Screen
DSTN (Double Layer Super Twisted Nematic, also known as Double Layer STN), was mainly used in some laptops in the past. Display technology is a passive technology that uses two layers of display,Display technology solves the drift problem of traditional STN displays, and due to DSTN's dual scanning technology, the effect is better than STN. Due to the DSIN being divided into two screens simultaneously, a bright line can be used at the center of the display.
OLED Screen
OLED (Organic Light Emitting Display) is a type of organic light-emitting display, which is an emerging type of liquid crystal display on mobile phones and is known as a "dream display". 0LED display technology has a different display mode from traditional LCD, without backlight. The coating of organic materials and glass substrates is very thin, and when current passes through, it will flash these organic materials. More importantly, OLED displays can be made lighter, thinner, with a larger viewing angle, and can significantly save power.
Currently, in the two major technological systems of 0LED, low molecular weight OLED technology as the Japanese master, and polymer PLED (known as OFl for mobile phones) technology, the color patented by the British technology company CDT master still faces many difficulties compared to PLED products. Moreover, low molecular weight OLEDs are easier to color. Recently, Samsung launched 65530 color smartphones equipped with OLEDs.
LCD Screen Resolution:
QVGA QuarterVGA: The standard VGA resolution is 1/4 size, which is 320 * 240. Currently, it is mainly used for portable players on mobile phones and above; QQVGA suitable for 1/4 QVGA screens, with a resolution of 120 * 160.
VGA video graphics array: resolution 640 * 480, some small devices are using this screen.
SVGASuper Video Graphics Array: An alternative to VGAscreen, supporting a maximum resolution of 800 * 600
XGA Extended Graphics Array: This is a widely used laptop LOD screen that will be used by nearly 80% of laptops in the market. It supports a maximum resolution of 1024 * 768, with screen sizes ranging from 10.4 inches, 12 inches, 13.3 inches to 14.1 inches and 15 inches.
SXGA+- Super Extended Graphics Array: As an extension of SXGA, SXGA+is a screen designed specifically for laptops. The display resolution is 1400 * 1050. The horizontal and vertical distance of the LoD laptop screen is different from that of a regular one
