Many things in life are displayed on LCD screens. Life, work, and entertainment are inseparable from LCD screens. But how many people know the working principle and internal structure of LCD screens? Today, the editor of Xianheng will give you a brief understanding!

The principle of lcd liquid crystal display

The working principle of the LCD screen is simple, the screen can display the liquid crystal material filled between the two parallel plates, and then the arrangement of the molecules inside the liquid crystal material is changed by voltage, so as to achieve the purpose of light shielding and light transmission. To display images of different shades and staggered patterns, and as long as a ternary color filter layer is added between the two plates, a color image can be displayed.

In fact, the LCD screens we see every day have glass substrates. This kind of glass substrate is extremely demanding, and the float glass production method must be used, and the flatness of the surface must be very good, and at the same time, it must be very thin. The surface of the glass substrate must be plated with a conductive layer of indium oxide or tin oxide, and it must be transparent. This is the ITO film in the LCD liquid crystal display. The outer leads of the glass substrate should be welded by a special welding method, using conductive rubber strips or conductive tape to solder, which is significantly different from the soldering with tin in our knowledge. The glass substrate is a very precise component, as long as a little damage is caused, the glass substrate will be scrapped. So his internal structure is complicated and delicate.
