The inspection system of visual industrial computer can be divided into three parts: image information acquisition, image information processing and the execution of the inspection results of the electromechanical system. In addition, the parameters can be set and adjusted in real time through the man-machine interface according to the needs of the system.

Introduction to the workflow of the visual industrial computer inspection system:

The workpiece positioning sensor detects that the detected object has moved to the center of the field of view of the machine vision camera system, and sends a trigger pulse to the image acquisition unit of the machine vision detection system. The image acquisition unit of the detection system sends trigger pulses to the camera and the lighting system respectively according to the preset program and delay. The machine vision camera stops the current scan and restarts a new frame scan, or the machine vision camera is in a waiting state before the trigger pulse arrives, and starts a frame scan after the trigger pulse arrives.

The machine vision camera opens the electronic shutter before starting a new frame scan, and the exposure time can be set in advance. Another trigger pulse turns on the light illumination, and the light on time should match the exposure time of the machine vision camera.

After the machine vision camera is exposed, the scanning and output of new-frame images officially begin. The image acquisition unit of the machine vision inspection system receives the analog video signal and digitizes it through the A/D converter, or directly receives the digital video signal after the digitization of the machine vision camera. The processing results control the actions of the production line, perform positioning, and correct movement errors.

It should be known that the visual I-controlled machine detection system is a relatively complex system. Most of the monitoring and detection objects are moving objects, and the matching and coordination between the system and the moving objects is particularly important, so it brings strict requirements to the action time and processing speed of each part of the system. In some application fields, such as robotics, flying object guidance, etc., there will be strict requirements on the weight, volume and power consumption of the entire system or a part of the system. For example, the optical system captures the image, converts the image into a digital format and transfers it to the computer memory; the processor uses different algorithms to improve the image factors that affect the detection; Identify and quantify the key features of the image, such as location, quantity, area, etc. These data are then passed to the control program; the control program makes conclusions based on the received data. For example: whether the position is within specification or how the actuator moves to pick up a part.

On the assembly line, when the part passes through the conveyor belt and reaches the trigger, the camera unit of the vision I controller immediately turns on the lighting and captures the image of the part; then the image data is sent to the processor, and the processor performs pixel division and brightness, color and other information according to the information. Operation to extract the characteristics of the target: area, length, quantity, position, etc.; and then output the results according to the preset criteria; size, angle, offset, number, qualified/unqualified, yes/five, etc.; through the scene The bus communicates with the PLC, directs the actuator (such as the air pump), and ejects the unqualified products.
