1. Design principle of LED light emission
Users who know the automation technology know that the component symbols of LED light-emitting diodes in the power supply circuit are very similar to those of diodes. It is just that an arrow indicating light emission is added to the basis of the diode. In fact, its physical structure is also similar to that of the diode. There is a very small chip on its lamp beads. Such a chip is composed of multiple layers of high-level. The uppermost layer is the P-type semiconductor layer, the lowermost layer is the N-type semiconductor layer, and the one in the middle is the light-emitting Floor. If an appropriate forward voltage is applied to the two layers of PN, the light-emitting layer in the middle will form photons visible to the human eye due to the passing of alternating current. This is the reason why it can emit light. It does not sound complicated. Bar!
3. The contrast of white LED
According to the proportion of high-definition blue light and yellow light, white light will show different contrast; if the proportion of high-definition blue light is large, the contrast of white light will be higher, which is considered to be a little bluish. If the proportion of yellow light is large, the contrast of white light will be low, giving people the impression that it is slightly yellowish. For example, the general studio flash has the function of adjusting the contrast, which can be adjusted in different contrast ranges to adapt to the actual application environment. The specific method of forming white light according to high-definition blue light has low cost, simple structure and convenient manufacturing, so as to form white light of various colors from 3500 to 10000K.
4. Application of LED lights
At present, LED lights are widely used, and they can be seen in indoor design and outdoors. Outdoors, such as street lights and tree decoration lights on the roadside, car lights and brake lights, guide lights in corridors, buildings or Pictures of the floodlights outside the building and so on. In the interior design, such as household lighting, flat-panel TV backlight, projector projection light pictures and LED flashlights and so on. These traditional applications that use energy-saving bulbs or rare gas lamps are now replaced with LED lights.
5. The advantages of LED lights
Compared with traditional energy-saving light bulbs, LED lights have many advantages. First, they have high luminous efficiency and good energy-saving safety performance. Under the same luminous intensity, the power of LEDs is only one-tenth of that of energy-saving light bulbs. Even compared with fluorescent tubes, the power of LED lights is only one-fourth of that of fluorescent tubes. Today, when energy conservation and emission reduction are constantly advocated, isn't this kind of low-energy-consumption and high-efficiency equipment what we most hope for? Second, the service life is long. Because the LED lamp is composed of PN junction and light-emitting layer inside, it does not have LED lamp beads like energy-saving bulbs, so its service life can be as high as 50,000 hours, while the service life of ordinary energy-saving bulbs is average. It is only 1,000 hours, and the service life of ordinary fluorescent tubes is only 8,000 hours. Third, LED lights use DC power supply, no flicker, energy-saving bulbs use AC power supply, there is a flicker phenomenon, a long time will make the eyes fatigue.
