Fan Boyu, vice president of TrendForce Research, said that according to the latest sales survey on Black Friday, under the strong promotion of the brand factory, the sales performance was good, and there was also a single-digit growth compared with the same period last year, which reduced the inventory from the overall supply chain to the channel end and returned to a healthy level. However, it has reached the end of the season, followed by the traditional off-season. The brand factory is conservative about the outlook for next year, so it is not eager to replenish the inventory. The increase of goods in December and even next January is limited. On the supply side, the panel factory still strictly controls the inventory, so the overall supply and demand are in a balanced state. It is expected that the price of TV panel will be flat in December and next January.
In December, the price of TV panel was flat, with the average price of 65-inch and 55-inch being about $110 and $83 respectively. In terms of small and medium-sized TV panel, the average price of 43-inch panel was about $50 and the price of 32-inch panel was stable at $29.
From the perspective of the IT panel, the inventory of the laptop market is still high, and some brand manufacturers have not yet cleared their inventory, but they are worried that the price of the panel will cause greater loss of inventory decline. The brand manufacturers are also willing to let the price of the panel stop falling. After a year of sharp decline, the price of the laptop panel has finally stopped falling. The average price of 15.6-inch panel is about $40.5, the average price of 40-inch panel is about $26.3, and the price of 11.6-inch panel is about $24.8.
From the perspective of display panel, the price of small size display panel below 21.5 inches remained flat, while the mainstream 23.8 inch and 27 inch display panels fell by about 0.2~0.3 dollars in the whole month.
