The OLED display is the master of the current liquid crystal display technology. It represents the highest level of modern display technology. So what is an OLED screen?
First of all, we can see from the naming that OLED is one of the light-emitting diodes. The full name of OLED is OrganicLight-Emitting Diode, namely: organic light-emitting diode display, which refers to organic semiconductor materials and light-emitting materials driven by electric current. A technology that emits light and realizes display.

The principle of OLED display
Organic electronic luminescence refers to the phenomenon that the luminescent material of organic semiconductor is driven by an electric field to form excitons through carrier injection, transport, electron and hole combination, and then radiation recombination leads to luminescence.

OLED has many advantages over LCD:
1. Self-luminous, it does not need a backlight, and the luminous efficiency is also very high;
2. DC low voltage drive;
3. With fast response characteristics (microsecond level);
4. Wide viewing angle (the viewing angle can exceed 170 degrees);
5. Wide temperature characteristics (can work normally in the range of -40°C~70°C);
6. Easy to realize the soft screen display.
